OUTREACH MINISTRIES

We encourage and emphasize voluntary participation in all areas of our church life-membership, evangelism, stewardship, worship and programs. We believe the most effective service to Christ and the church comes through the response of hearts that have been touched by his love, rather than through pressure or coercion. First Baptist Church of Scottsdale is deeply involved in missions throughout the world, through denominational and non-denominational ministries alike. Some of the areas in which we reach out for Christ are:

Local Service & Outreach:

Vista Del Camino, Chrysalis Shelter, Mobile Meals, Christian Family Care.

Greater Phoenix/Arizona Service & Outreach:

Native Americans, Rainbow Acres, Verde Valley Christian Center.

National Service & Outreach:

A variety of ministries throughout regions of the country through the national ministries of the American Baptist Churches (includes educational, camping, Native American, new church planting, and city ministries).
